What is the role?
As a skilled and motivated Flight Operations Engineer you will become an integral part of our Satellite Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the day-to-day flight operations of our spacecraft and contribute directly to mission success and reliability - combining hands-on operational duties with the engineering judgment needed to keep our fleet healthy on orbit.
This role is based in Denver, Colorado, where we are building a high-performing and fast-paced team. The position will be on-site and in person at the office, with occasional travel to our headquarters in Europe .
Some of your daily tasks will include
- Monitor and analyze spacecraft telemetry, and investigate off-nominal behavior
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks
- Plan and execute payload commissioning based on operational documentation
- Develop, validate, and maintain flight procedures and automation scripts for different operational flows
- Coordinate operational activities (passes, contacts, campaigns) and maintain accurate activity logs during daily operations •
Support anomaly investigation and resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes
What do we look for?
- Degree in a technical field (aerospace, electronics, software, or similar)
- Experience in time-critical operations (spacecraft operations, air traffic control, or similar)
- Good knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, MATLAB, or similar)
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Good command of technical documentation, including the ability to author and refine operational procedures
- Knowledge and experience in electronics testing, C/C++ or Python, and data analysis are considered advantageous
- Willingness to travel to Europe occasionally.
- Based in the Denver area, or willing to relocate.

Salary range: $80,000 – $130,000 per year. The state of Colorado requires listing salary details. The salary will likely be within this range although it may differ based on experience level or other factors.
