Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients by assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with mobility and transferring as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations
• Ability to pass background checks
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude toward clients
