Specialty Intern
Job description
The Specialty Sales Intern will support the Specialty business team by assisting with customer service, quote requests, order processing, and administrative tasks. This role provides an opportunity to learn about inside sales, customer support, and cross-functional business operations while working closely with experienced team members.
What You'll Do
- Assist with responding to customer inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Help process quote requests and gather customer information for review by the sales team.
- Support order entry activities and track orders through the fulfillment process.
- Maintain customer records and update information in company systems.
- Assist with processing customer returns and claims under the guidance of team members.
- Work with sales representatives and other departments to help meet customer needs.
- Learn how to review customer requirements, product information, and basic specifications.
- Help prepare reports, sales data, and other information to support business decisions.
- Participate in special projects and team initiatives as assigned.
- Attend training sessions to develop product, customer service, and sales knowledge.
- Provide administrative and organizational support to the Specialty Sales team.
- Help promote a positive customer experience by supporting timely and accurate responses.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-focused mindset and positive attitude.
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Specialty Sales organization.
