Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the product team based in the Netherlands that manages our portfolio of multichoice gift cards across the BeNeFra region.

Reporting to the VP Product for Multichoice Gift Cards, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the 1‑3‑5 year product strategy for the region. You will combine deep customer and market insight with strong commercial and technical understanding to ensure our gift cards are truly “gift cards of the future” — innovative, easy to use, and loved by consumers and partners.

You will use data and stakeholder feedback to identify product improvements, drive packaging and design innovation, and deliver continuous product enhancements with the consumer at the centre. You are motivated by building best‑in‑class products , delivering against ambitious OKRs, and leading a high‑performing team. This role is highly collaborative and fast‑paced; you will need to be strategic and forward‑thinking , while also hands‑on and focused on in‑year delivery.

Based in Amsterdam, the Original Content Product team develops and manages Blackhawk’s own multichoice gift card range, driving incremental revenue and growth across the gift card category in the BeNeFra region (Netherlands, Belgium, France) . The team works closely with Sales, Consumer Marketing, Operations and Technology to manage, evolve and expand our award‑winning, market‑leading multichoice gift cards.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own the regional product vision, strategy and roadmap for multichoice gift cards in BeNeFra, in close partnership with the VP Product and regional leadership.
  • Translate company and regional goals into clear product OKRs , initiatives and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain and communicate a transparent, prioritised roadmap that balances growth, customer experience, operational feasibility and regulatory/compliance requirements.

Customer, Market & Competitor Insight

  • Develop a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, partner needs and retail journeys across the region to inform product decisions.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights (customer feedback, NPS, research, analytics, sales data) to validate problems and shape solutions.
  • Continuously scan the competitive landscape and market trends in payments, gifting and digital experiences to keep BHN’s multichoice products differentiated and future‑ready.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of the multichoice gift card portfolio (concept, business case, design, build, launch, optimise, retire).
  • Drive innovation in packaging formats, product design, sustainability, and digital/omni‑channel experiences .
  • Work with Technology and Operations to scope, prioritize and deliver product enhancements and new features using agile ways of working.
  • Ensure products meet quality, compliance, security and operational standards and are ready for scale.

Commercial Performance & Analytics

  • Monitor and optimise sales, redemption, margin and profitability across the portfolio and channels; identify and act on performance opportunities and risks.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial teams on forecasting, pricing, promotions and business cases for new initiatives.
  • Track performance against OKRs and KPIs and provide regular, data‑driven updates to stakeholders.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Go‑to‑Market

  • Work closely with Sales, Account Management, Consumer Marketing, Operations, Technology, Legal/Compliance and Finance to ensure alignment and successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing to shape product positioning, launches, promotions and lifecycle campaigns to grow awareness, adoption and engagement.
  • Support Sales and Partner Account Management with product expertise in key customer meetings, RFPs and strategic partner discussions.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing product team in the Netherlands, creating an inclusive, collaborative and outcome‑focused culture.
  • Provide clear goals, feedback and development plans; help the team grow in product craft, commercial acumen and stakeholder management.
  • Champion cross‑functional ways of working , ensuring clarity on ownership, decision‑making and communication.

Governance & Ways of Working

  • Champion data‑driven decision‑making , experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to and help evolve BHN’s product management practices, frameworks and tooling.
  • Ensure appropriate risk management, documentation and stakeholder communication for all product initiatives.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Languages

  • Native/fluent Dutch and business‑fluent English (written and spoken). Additional French is an advantage.

Experience

  • BA+ Extensive experience in product management (typically 8+ years), including demonstrable success launching and scaling consumer or retail products; experience in payments, fintech, gifting or retail is a plus.
  • Proven track record as a Senior Product Manager or equivalent , driving growth through customer‑centric product development.
  • Experience leading and developing a team of product managers or specialists.
  • Strong experience working with data and sales analytics to drive decisions; comfortable with financial and commercial metrics.
  • Demonstrated success working in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment , collaborating with Technology, Marketing, Sales and Operations.
  • Experience using agile methodologies and modern product discovery/delivery practices.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
