Ale Haus Busperson – Part-Time (Omaha)

💰 Starting Pay: $16.00/hour

🕒 Schedule: Part-TimeOpen availability preferred, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Position Summary

The Ale Haus Busperson plays a key role in creating an exceptional dining experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment. This position is responsible for clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, stocking service stations, and assisting the restaurant team to ensure efficient service and outstanding guest satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Practice, support, and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
  • Maintain knowledge of restaurant service standards, table setups, beverage service, and pre-bussing procedures.
  • Promptly clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables according to company standards.
  • Stock and replenish service stations with glassware, silverware, dishes, cups, napkins, and other dining supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, floors, carpets, and surrounding guest areas.
  • Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and presentation of tables, chairs, booths, and dining areas.
  • Assist servers with beverage service, food delivery, and other guest service needs as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with hosts, servers, and kitchen staff regarding seating needs and guest requests.
  • Maintain proper inventory and par levels of dining room supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure side stations remain fully stocked and organized throughout each shift.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions.
  • Follow all department policies, company procedures, internal controls, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Promote positive guest interactions and teamwork among all departments.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Previous restaurant, busser, server assistant, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism while providing exceptional guest service.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and teamwork.

Work Hours

Due to the nature of the hospitality and gaming industry, team members must be available to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Certifications & Licensing

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
  • Food Handler Certification
  • ServSafe Certification
  • TIPS Alcohol Certification

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This position requires frequent movement throughout the restaurant and dining areas.

Team members must be able to

  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and carry trays, dishes, and supplies.
  • Lift and carry up to 20 pounds .
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Maintain manual dexterity, balance, coordination, and endurance throughout the shift.
  • Safely work around cleaning chemicals, hot surfaces, and busy dining areas.
  • Utilize sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste as needed to support guest service and food quality standards.
