Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced technology location, where you will monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Screen individuals entering designated areas by checking credentials, confirming authorization, and/or following established entry requirements while documenting security-related concerns as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate communication channels and/or according to site procedures.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or delivery traffic to help support orderly access and help to deter unauthorized entry or other security-related issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining attentive to unusual activity, facility conditions, and/or policy violations within the location.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
