Shift Manager
Job description
•
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Oversee production activities. Ensure activities are being achieved in accordance to THI Ecosystem expectations. Follow escalation procedures to react when targets are not achieved across all shifts.
- Properly resolve problems and troubleshoot issues as they arise possibly without the direction of management.
- Assign team members with tasks to be completed each shift.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and coach individuals when not in accordance to our servant leadership approach.
- Lead A3/8D (problem solving) activities for key issues within production ranging from Safety, Quality, Productivity, Continuous Improvement, etc.
- Support Continuous Improvement efforts with targeted annual savings.
- Meet daily with production planner and warehouse supervisor to ensure activities on the floor for build are in line with plan. All issues that impact need to be escalated and clearly understood at all levels of the organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & R EQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience required.
- Training in Lean manufacturing required.

- None
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Skilled in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
