Job description

We are LIFEPOWR! A young and dynamic company, based in Antwerp, active in the energy transition sector and scaling up rapidly! We develop smart solutions to support the global shift to renewable energy. Our advanced algorithms deliver significant value for households, businesses, and society as a whole.

We virtually connect diverse energy sources such as batteries, electric vehicle chargers, and solar inverters to broader networks of aggregated flexible capacity, balancing energy demand and maximizing the impact of renewable energy. As a service company, we support both channel partners and energy market players, including energy suppliers, DSOs, and TSOs, with access to flexibility and smart energy management.

We are looking for

An experienced Operational Support Specialist with a proven track record in supporting and optimizing operational processes to guarantee the performance and continuity of our LIFEPOWR devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle first and second-line technical support tickets for installers and customers.
  • Diagnose issues related to IoT hardware, connectivity, firmware, and platform behavior.
  • Provide guidance to installers during setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Escalate complex cases to the engineering or product team when needed.
  • Document recurring issues, solutions, and best practices.
  • Support internal process improvements and testing of new features or firmware.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others and resolving issues.
  • Ability to ask critical questions and challenge assumptions to identify root causes.
  • High sense of ownership and drive to follow issues through to resolution.
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach to documenting findings.
  • Collaborative attitude when coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • Clear and professional communication in English and Dutch. French is a bonus.

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with the renewable energy market or energy flexibility services is an advantage.
  • Experience in providing technical support through helpdesk tickets or phone calls
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, MQTT, LTE/WiFi).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret logs, performance metrics, or device telemetry.
