About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Application Engineer (Expert Level) to join a team working on next-generation automotive infotainment systems within a leading Entertainment and Connectivity Services organization.

The team develops and maintains a multi-brand Android-based infotainment platform, operating in an agile environment and contributing to the evolution of next-generation in-vehicle digital experiences.

You will be part of a team responsible for software updates, data logging, and data collection functionalities, contributing across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Work across the full development lifecycle: requirement analysis, refinement, design, implementation, testing, and verification

Develop both new functionality and maintain existing embedded software components

Contribute to Android-based software development for infotainment systems

Participate in system design and technical roadmap development

Integrate software deliveries from multiple contributors

Ensure high quality and release readiness of software components

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setup

Act as a technical contributor and support continuous improvement within the team

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have

Strong experience in Android development (Kotlin, Java, C++)

Solid background in embedded automotive software development

Experience working with complex, distributed software systems

Strong understanding of software design, debugging, and testing practices

Ability to work across the full stack of embedded and application layers

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

It is highly desirable if you have

10+ years of relevant industry experience

Experience in automotive domains such as vehicle systems, HMI, powertrain, diagnostics, or electrification

Experience in system engineering, technical leadership, or acting as a technical SME

Experience driving architecture or technical roadmap discussions

A strong interest in team development, agile practices, and continuous improvement
