Job description
Reports to: Operations Director
Status: Part-Time | Hourly 32hrs
Schedule: Monday – Thursday

Job Summary
To serve C3 by assisting with the smooth, efficient, and welcoming operation of available ministry spaces so guests and congregants can experience all of God’s best while onsite. This looks like serving any and all departments at C3 as needed within the available hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Operations Director to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment for all guests, congregants, and staff.
- Answer ministry phone calls, digital and written communication, etc. with a friendly and cheerful demeanor.
- Support the Operations Director in the creation and review of the annual church ministry calendar.
- Review, process, and maintain the reservation and events approval queue in CCB.
- Support ministry leaders as necessary to ensure all staff and volunteers have needed materials to meet and execute their ministry obligations.
- Receive, digitize, and disseminate weekly ministry intake documents to include, but not limited to prayer requests, connect cards, complaints, etc.
- Work with oversight to disseminate accurate and timely information to staff and congregations.
- Ensure all office materials and supplies are stocked and available for staff and volunteers.
- Communicate regularly with supervisor about departmental issues.
- Assist supervisor with special projects, events, and diverse tasks in support of C3.
- Attend any department meetings, regular all-staff meetings, and other meetings as required.
- Utilize a thorough understanding of C3 employee policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate ongoing financial support for ministries of C3.
- Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment.
- Cooperate with leadership by performing any other duties when asked to do so.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

- Professional, spiritually mature, and comfortable interacting with diverse groups.
- Able to analyze complex, technical situations and develop solutions
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity and experience with a variety of software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with church management software (CCB, Planning Center, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and office skills.
- Ability to handle constantly changing priorities and demands.
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively and professionally at all levels.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Education and Experience
Education: High School diploma or GED required.
Experience: 3 years of experience in administrative support, ministry coordination, or operations, preferably in a church or nonprofit setting.

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Close visual acuity to is necessary to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
