Job description
We are hiring a Construction Project Manager to lead upcoming large-scale residential and mixed-use projects in the Coeur d’Alene area.
We are specifically looking for someone with commercial general contractor experience who can manage projects from preconstruction and mobilization through final turnover. The right candidate will understand scheduling, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, documentation, field operations, and client communication.
Candidates currently working as Superintendents or experienced Foremen may also be considered if they have strong leadership experience and are ready to advance into Project Management.
This is an urgent hire, and we are looking to add the right person within the next 30 days.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential and mixed-use construction projects from startup through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and subcontractor scopes
- Coordinate Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and ownership
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Monitor project costs, schedule performance, quality, safety, and subcontractor progress
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams
- Identify construction, scheduling, staffing, and cost risks before they affect delivery
- Visit jobsites regularly and support field teams in resolving project issues
- Manage punch lists, closeout documentation, and final project turnover
- 3–5+ years of Project Management experience with a general contractor
- Experience with residential, multifamily, mixed-use, or related ground-up construction
- Previous responsibility for supervising subcontractors, crews, or construction teams
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and change management
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage projects independently and maintain accountability for results
- Must live within approximately one hour of Coeur d’Alene or be willing to relocate
- $90,000–$120,000 base salary, based on experience
