Responsibilities

  • Process and verify employee timesheets and attendance records to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
  • Calculate wages, bonuses, deductions, and taxes in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Prepare and distribute employee paychecks or direct deposits in a timely manner.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and leave balances professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations, tax laws, and company policies to ensure compliance.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar payroll administration role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to meet payroll deadlines.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees and other departments.
