House Manager / Nanny

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Executive Family Assistant to support our busy, active household. The children are ages 16, 11, and 7 and have a shared custody schedule. Because the children are often at school, activities, or with their other parent, many days are primarily focused on household management, organization, meal preparation, and keeping the home running smoothly.

This is not a traditional nanny position. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the home, works independently, notices what needs to be done without constant direction, and takes pride in creating a calm, organized, and welcoming environment.

Typical Schedule

• Children Home: Approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Children Not Home: Approximately 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Saturdays (when the children are home): Approximately 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sundays: Off
• Fridays when the children are not home: Off

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care when the children are home.
• Prepare healthy breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and assist with basic dinner preparation.
• Support school routines, homework, transportation, and activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home.
• Laundry, folding, ironing, bed linens, towels, and clothing organization.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common living spaces.
• Deep cleaning and seasonal organization projects when needed.
• Organize closets, pantry, cupboards, and storage spaces.
• Meal preparation, grocery shopping, and household inventory.
• Receive deliveries, organize packages, and manage returns and errands.
• Supervise contractors and home service appointments when needed.
• Anticipate household needs and proactively complete tasks without being asked.

The Ideal Candidate

Experienced in both childcare and housekeeping. Proactive, trustworthy, discreet, detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, comfortable working independently, and looking for a long-term position with one household.

Salary: 60,000 US$ - 65,000 US$
