Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with

• A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class B minimum, Class A preferred.
• Clean driving record supported by Annual MVR Report. No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in cargo securement practices, including the safe loading, securing, and unloading of goods
• 3-year commercial driving experience required.
• High School or equivalent (e.g., GED)
• Ability to operate a forklift and reach truck.
• Pass a required drug test and possess a current DOT medical certificate. Must not have positive drug tests in the last 12 months.
• U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. and pass an E-Verify Check.

What you Bring

• A safety first mindset including adherence to all Federal and State DOT requirements including Personal Protective Equipment on customer sites.
• Attention to detail which includes delivery logs, inspection forms, and other required documentation.
• Proficient communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to perform other tasks outside of driving such as operating a fork truck, order reviews, among other tasks assigned by management in a warehouse environment.
• Building products knowledge is a big plus.
• Customer centric mindset.
• Experience operating straight trucks, Conestoga experience a plus.
