Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our growing team. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex enterprise solutions and API integrations with SAAS platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our technology infrastructure meets the needs of our organization. You are an experienced leader who understands technology, software, and data architecture, and knows how to build a team and deliver results. You will bring to the role outstanding analytic capabilities, experience with development environments, breadth of knowledge in software architecture, and a track record of delivering successful application solutions/products as both a developer and leader. You can prioritize changing demands, multitask, and creatively meet tight deadlines, in addition to being extremely process focused.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable and secure enterprise systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Lead the development team in implementing best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to architectural guidelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Build and lead a high-performing software development team.
  • Lead the vision and delivery of strategic technology solutions that fit business needs.
  • Create a culture of innovation to deliver a first-class product for Gen II's clients.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architecture.
  • Develop and maintain current and planned state architectural blueprints.
  • Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals, and strategies.
  • Collaborate across product management, product support, client success, and sales to align and meet product development objectives.
  • Instill development best practices that drive a high-quality product.
  • Mentor, train, and help grow the engineering team.
  • Consistently demonstrate company values: respect, integrity, drive to excellence, results orientation, and winning attitude.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with private equity platforms is preferred.
  • 4+ years' experience as an Enterprise Architect or a similar role.
  • Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions.
  • Active use of AI-assisted development in integration delivery - pattern generation, code scaffolding, IaC templating, documentation automation etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Strong technical skills in .NET, Java, C#, SQL Server.
  • Thorough understanding of web-based, scalable, redundant technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management using agile development practices: Agile, Scrum.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think independently, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science or information science/technology.
  • Cloud-native application architecture, design, and development skills.

The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate's experience level.

Work Arrangement

All applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services, LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note that all US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule, comprised of one (1) to four (4) days in office on-site as needed.
