Job Description:
ABOUT CROWN:
Crown’s Aerosol Division helps global brands become leaders in their market segments through high-quality metal aerosol packaging. We combine our unique decorating capabilities with the latest aerosol technologies to create packaging that not only meets rigorous industry requirements but, most importantly, satisfies the everyday needs and expectations of consumers worldwide.
This is your opportunity to join the Crown Aerosol Division.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all plant safety rules and required PPE at all times
- Ensure safe operating practices
- Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment
- Install and modify mechanical equipment
- Fabricate machinery and special components, as required
- Repair manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, pumps, piping, and other mechanical systems
- Perform simple to intermediate equipment and pipe installations
- Comply with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping standards
- Rebuild production equipment
- Conduct inventory of spare parts
- Assist with and develop troubleshooting skills for production and facility equipment breakdowns
- Follow safety precautions and proper preventative and predictive maintenance methods on various types of equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work area

REQUIREMENTS:
- Mechanical background and/or relevant experience required
- Must be able to operate forklifts, gantry cranes, and aerial lifts
- Thorough understanding of rigging, welding, and fabrication
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance
- Requires manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Ability to work an eight (8) hour shift
- Must work mandatory overtime when needed to include weekends
- Must be able to work the hours of 2:45 pm to 11:00 pm
- Acceptable attendance record, consisting of no more than a total of 8 attendance points as of the date the posting is removed
- Acceptable performance record, with no disciplinary actions beyond a Written Warning within the six (6) months preceding the posting removal date
