SewerAI is transforming underground infrastructure management through AI-powered inspection and risk analysis. Our platform helps contractors, engineering firms, and utilities unlock valuable insights from sewer inspection data—turning hours of manual video review into actionable intelligence in minutes. After doubling our customer base over the past year, we’re now entering an exciting phase of accelerated growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Strategy & Customer Evidence
- Translate company goals, customer needs, and market signals into clear product direction.
- Build a repeatable customer evidence engine (interviews, win/loss, usage signals, sales feedback) and synthesize inputs into crisp roadmap decisions.
- Drive focus and ruthless prioritization: sequence what matters, cut what doesn't.
Product Management & Roadmap Discipline
- Lead and develop the PM team, raising the bar on discovery, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership.
- Establish lightweight planning rhythms that create clarity without unnecessary process.
- Partner with Engineering on sequencing, scope discipline, and delivery predictability.
- Own roadmap communication across Sales, CS, Marketing, and leadership.
Design, UX & Product Taste
- Champion strong UX across SewerAI's product portfolio: workflow clarity, information architecture, and visual quality.
- Embed design early in product thinking, not as a finishing step.
- Make complex, AI-enabled infrastructure software feel intuitive and credible for end users, especially where AI-generated insights drive decisions.
AI-Forward Product Leadership
- Identify high-value AI opportunities that improve customer outcomes, workflow automation, and internal velocity.
- Champion responsible experimentation across discovery, prototyping, research, and delivery.
- Keep AI initiatives tied to measurable customer and business value, not novelty.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as a credible partner to Sales, CS, Marketing, Engineering, and the founders.
- Strengthen product enablement so GTM teams understand what's being built and why it matters.
- Bring commercial fluency (pipeline impact, retention, expansion, customer ROI) to product decisions.
Team & Culture
- Build a high-performing PM and Design org with clear ownership, strong craft, and high accountability.
- Coach PMs and designers to be sharper customer listeners, better synthesizers, and stronger strategic partners.
- Model low ego, high standards, and a bias toward action.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years in product management, including meaningful B2B SaaS leadership.
- Experience scaling a product org through high growth: vertical SaaS, infrastructure tech, govtech, construction, or similar workflow-heavy markets a plus.
- Strong design judgment and experience partnering with or leading design teams.
- Practical experience with AI-enabled products or AI-augmented product workflows.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and written/verbal communication skills.
- Commercial fluency across pipeline, retention, expansion, and GTM strategy.
- Low ego, high ownership. Able to find success in ambiguity.
- Thrives in a high-velocity, scrappy environments.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $260,000 - $275,000 | Up to $325,000 OTE
