Coordinate with other organizations (public and private) to grow our program and increase awareness of the Sierra Club.

Identify interested Sierra Club Florida Groups and document schools in that area with programs like AP Environmental Sciences whose teachers may want to work with us.

Help develop a scholarship program for teachers and graduating seniors – the intern will assist in recommending to our committee where we should consider grants.

Keep the Sierra Communications Team and Chapter Development Director aware of our activities and successes.

Travel when needed to Sierra Club Groups (and affiliated organizations) around the state to make them aware of our activities and recruit new members to help with our efforts.

Other tasks as assigned.
