Claims Advocacy Specialist
Job description
Marsh Türkiye is seeking candidates for a “ Claims Advocacy Specialist ” based in the Istanbul office :
What can you expect? As a Claims Advocacy Specialist, you will report to the Head of Claims and play an important role in delivering claims advocacy services to Marsh clients. You will support clients through the claims process, coordinate closely with insurers, and help drive efficient and effective claims outcomes, with a focus on Liability and FINPRO claims.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team environment and further develop your technical claims expertise while working with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
We will count on you to
•
Manage claims notifications and support the claims handling process from initial reporting through resolution
•
Act as a point of contact for clients on claims-related matters
•
Provide guidance to clients on claims procedures, documentation, and next steps
•
Advocate on behalf of clients in communications and negotiations with insurers and underwriters
•
Support the handling of Liability and FINPRO claims
•
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with insurance carriers and internal teams
•
Ensure claims files, records, and correspondence are maintained accurately and in a timely manner
•
Contribute to delivering a high standard of service and client experience
What you need to have
•
Bachelor’s degree
•
1–4 years of professional experience in claims or insurance
•
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish
•
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
•
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

SEGEM / TSEV qualification
•
Experience handling Liability and/or FINPRO claims
•
Understanding of insurance coverage, claims practices, and policy interpretation
•
Proven experience in a similar role within insurance, brokerage, or claims advisory
•
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
•
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
•
Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and work effectively under pressure
•
Self-starter with a proactive and client-focused mindset
