Linux Infrastructure Automation Engineer (Ansible)
Job description
Roles & Responsibilities :
We are seeking an experienced Linux Infrastructure Automation Engineer (Ansible) to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale automation solutions for Linux environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Ansible automation, Linux administration, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, OS lifecycle management, and deployment automation. The role involves building scalable, reusable, and reliable automation frameworks that support large-scale Linux infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.
Educational qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience : 6 - 8 years of experience in Linux infrastructure automation and system administration.
Mandatory/requires Skills :
1. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Ansible automation frameworks.
2. Develop reusable playbooks, roles, collections, and modules following best practices.
3. Build scalable, idempotent automation for provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and OS lifecycle management.
4. Automate software installation, upgrades, patching, and rollback processes.
5. Manage Ansible inventories, variables, templates, Ansible Vault, and execution environments.
6. Optimize Ansible performance for large-scale deployments across hundreds of Linux systems.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation failures.
8. Maintain version-controlled automation using Git.

Specialist: Red Hat Certified Specialist in Managing Automation with Ansible Automation Platform
