Job Summary
The Regional Rewards Leader is responsible for leading and continuously improving Rewards programs across India, ASEAN, Pacific and METAP. The role partners closely with business leaders, HRBPs, Finance, Global Rewards CoE and external providers to design, implement and govern competitive, fair and cost-effective rewards solutions. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, the role ensures local and regional rewards programs support business priorities, strengthen employee experience, enable attraction and retention of talent, while remaining compliant with changing regulatory requirements.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Design, develop and monitor rewards programs at local and regional level
- Use external market insights and internal data to assess the competitiveness, fairness and employee relevance of rewards programs.
- Ensure rewards solutions are aligned with business priorities across the region and tailored to local market needs where appropriate.
- Monitor and analyze program effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities and translate insights into practical actions.
- Balance employee needs, market competitiveness and cost effectiveness to deliver sustainable rewards outcomes for Signify.
- Stakeholder management and governance
- Build trusted partnerships with business leaders, HRBPs, CoEs, Finance and other stakeholders to understand evolving rewards needs and shape effective solutions.
- Represent Rewards in regional HR governance forums, providing clear updates on priorities, performance, risks and decisions required.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using analytics, employee feedback, and SLA performance to enhance service quality and impact.
- Ensure rewards programs remain compliant with local legal and regulatory requirements, proactively identifying and driving required changes.
- Act as trusted Rewards advisor to business, HR and Finance leaders
- Serve as the regional subject matter expert for rewards topics, advising leaders and HR partners on policies, programs and market practices.
- Provide strategic guidance on complex non-executive reward matters, enabling informed decision-making and consistent application of rewards principles.
- Lead global rewards program ownership
- Own at least one global rewards topic or program, such as compensation, benefits, sales incentives, performance or recognition, on behalf of the Rewards CoE.
- Drive the design, execution, change management, communication, effectiveness, maintenance and continuous improvement of owned global program(s).
Critical Experiences & Skills
Experiences
- Master’s degree in human resources, Business, Finance or a related field; advanced degree or rewards certification is a plus.
- Overall experience of 15-18 years. Progressive experience in compensation, benefits or total rewards, including at least 6 years in a country, regional or global rewards leadership role.
- Proven track record of designing, implementing and governing rewards programs end to end, with measurable business and employee impact.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior stakeholders across business, HR, Finance and external providers in a regional or global environment.
- Strong data literacy, with the ability to interpret insights, measure program effectiveness and translate analysis into recommendations.
- Strong financial literacy, including the ability to assess cost, affordability and return on investment for rewards initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading change management and communicating program changes to diverse audiences.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and dashboard creation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex rewards topics into clear, business-relevant messages.
- Confident presenting insights, recommendations and decision points to senior leaders.
- Strong listening skills, with the ability to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into practical rewards solutions.
- Collaborative, inclusive and pragmatic working style, with the ability to work effectively across functions, geographies and cultures.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies and a basic understanding of how AI, including generative and agentic AI, can support HR and rewards processes.
