Job description

At IAC Group, we are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to lead the overall management of Environmental, Health, and Safety functions at the plant, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk prevention, and alignment with corporate and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

EHS Leadership & Compliance

  • Lead the Plant EHS Steering Committee and coordinate EHS commissions and schedules.
  • Ensure full compliance with EHS legal requirements, including Mexican NOMs and corporate standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee internal and external EHS audits.
  • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.

Environmental Management

  • Lead the Environmental Management Plan.
  • Coordinate hazardous and non-hazardous waste management and disposal.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulatory requirements.

Health & Industrial Hygiene

  • Coordinate Site Health Program and supervise Medical Services.
  • Lead and coordinate Industrial Hygiene studies and programs.
  • Coordinate plant Ergonomics Committee.

Safety & Emergency Response

  • Lead emergency response planning and drills.
  • Coordinate fire protection systems compliance and fire equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with LOTO programs and safety audits.
  • Coordinate insurance compliance related to EHS requirements.

Security & Supply Chain Compliance

  • Coordinate Security Services at site.
  • Administer and coordinate C-TPAT and NEEC procedures and activities.

Training & Communication

  • Deliver and coordinate EHS training programs across the plant.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through effective communication and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing an EHS function in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Solid understanding and application of Mexican NOMs (STPS / SEMARNAT).
  • Advanced English (written and spoken).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
