As a Software Project Management Advisor, you will be responsible for executing Baker Hughes Cordant™ software projects, including Asset Health, Asset Strategy, and Process Optimization solutions. You will coordinate stakeholders, plan execution strategies, and lead cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of software projects aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
As a Software Project Management Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating project scope with stakeholders and defining execution strategies and milestones.
Program Planning
- Developing execution strategies and roadmaps, including objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
Stakeholder Management & Coordination
- Engaging with stakeholders to define scope and planning activities, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements.
Team Leadership
- Leading and coordinating cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
Risk Management
- Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Financial Management
- Owning project financials, including revenue recognition, invoicing, and change orders.
- Managing project budgets and tracking cost elements to ensure financial performance.
Performance Monitoring
- Tracking project progress against defined goals and KPIs, making adjustments as required.
Reporting
- Providing regular updates to stakeholders on project status, challenges, and outcomes.
Quality Assurance
- Ensuring deliverables meet defined quality standards and align with program objectives.
Change Management
- Managing changes in scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyzing project outcomes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness for future programs.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital and Software Project Management.
- Be fluent in English and Spanish.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
- Possess strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
- Show proven ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
- Demonstrate experience in leading programs and projects successfully.
- Be capable of planning, documenting, marketing, and executing programs.
- Have well‑established project management skills.
