Our hotel
The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.
Your key responsibilities
Rocco Forte Hotels is a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of the location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

Interested in taking your career to the next level at a world-leading luxury hotel to work with our Head Chef Stefano Furci and his team, creating seasonally inspired, classic brasserie dishes that harmonise quintessentially French flavours with local ingredients.
As a valued part of the Forte family, you will
•
Use the finest products, and cook from scratch to create a unique experience for our guests
•
Work alongside the chefs to prepare and present food to the highest standards
•
Be able to work under pressure during busy periods
•
Have extensive training but should be capable of self-direction an self-reliance in a busy kitchen environment.
•
Coach and Mentor Apprentices, Commis and Demi Chef de Parties
•
Work 4 days a week to offer a great work-life balance

£39,000 expected package (£33k salary plus qualified estimate of discretionary service charge)
