Target Range:
$70,304.00 /Yr. - $78,000.00 /Yr.Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.
About This Job
Axos is seeking a Business Analyst with experience in analyzing business processes. Ability to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation of projects. Conducts research and prepares reports to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience writing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries for data extraction and reporting. Experience developing interactive dashboards, visualizing complex datasets, and deriving meaningful business insights using Tableau and Microsoft Report Builder.This position will be 100% on-site at our HQ in San Diego, CA.
Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities, gather requirements, and lead projects from concept through implementation while delivering measurable business value. Design, develop, and implement reporting, analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for optimization
Translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable solution designs aligned with organizational goals.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to support data extraction, reporting, and analysis
Develop interactive dashboards and reports that visualize complex data and deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Partner with stakeholders across multiple levels (executive leadership, operations, and technical teams) to align on priorities and deliver solutions
Present findings, recommendations, and project updates in clear, concise, and compelling formats
Collaboration & Team Contribution
Work closely with other analysts to share knowledge, support initiatives, and improve team standards and practices
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including automation, standardization, and adoption of new tools and technologies
Qualifications:
Associate's degree required
Experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related role
Strong SQL skills for querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, SSRS, or similar platforms
Experience developing reports, dashboards, or automation solutions
Exposure to or interest in AI and workflow automation tools (e.g., Copilot, n8n, etc.) preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
