Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting career in Purchasing? Purchasing is a world of analysis, strategy, relationship management, supply chains, and negotiations. Sounds exciting to you?

YOUR FUTURE EMPLOYER

From its foundation 185 years ago as a soap and candle start-up, P&G today is a leading consumer goods company. We are home to iconic, trusted brands that touch 5 billion consumers worldwide and make life a little bit easier in small but meaningful ways.

We want you to bring your insight, creativity, and passion to join our dedicated teams who have helped us grow into a global company.

Our people are our greatest asset: with our philosophy of promotion from within, we place strong emphasis on employee development and are committed to finding and fostering world-class talent. Learn from our inspiring leaders, shape our supportive and welcoming culture, and place your personal development at the core of your work!

YOUR ROLE AS A PURCHASING MANAGER (M/F/D)

In this role, you are responsible for leading strategic and tactical sourcing across Social Brand Building, with a focus on social marketing and agency ecosystems, while ensuring full alignment with purchasing strategies and delivering best total value outcomes. You own the end‑to‑end governance and execution of social marketing related contracts, including scope definition, rate structures, usage and rights, exclusivity, and performance measurement.

You coordinate and drive sourcing activities by managing internal and external relationships, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns and purchasing processes while maintaining strict compliance with procurement policies, brand safety requirements, and data/privacy standards. Your responsibilities include defining and executing sourcing strategies and recommendations, leading complex negotiations, and ensuring delivery of key fundamentals such as total value creation and operational compliance. You leverage analytics, spend data, and market insights to identify opportunities, shape sourcing interventions, and support financial planning cycles.

You take ownership of contract lifecycle management and execution excellence across social marketing and agency engagements—ensuring robust governance of statements of work, deliverables, approvals, and payment milestones. You continuously optimise external business partner performance and ecosystem design by managing selection, onboarding, performance tracking, and continuous improvement of partners, while conducting structured supplier reviews and driving innovation across the supply base.

You develop and implement scalable, best‑in‑class sourcing solutions for social marketing, shaping commercial models, negotiation playbooks, and standardized frameworks to improve efficiency and consistency. You build strong cross-functional partnerships with Brand, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure alignment, provide expert guidance, and enable successful campaign execution. As a key purchasing partner, you proactively analyse market trends and supplier capabilities to unlock competitive advantage and strengthen P&G’s position within the creator economy.

You are accountable for delivering excellence in business results through rigorous execution, data-driven decision making, and disciplined compliance, while building and nurturing strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to continuously elevate performance and value creation.

As we know this is challenging, we make sure that you receive a customized learning plan to ensure you get the right level of coaching, mentorship and training as you deliver your work.

Throughout your P&G Purchases career you may take on a variety of roles including Purchases Manager for local, regional and global scope, Strategic Sourcing Manager, Stewardship Manager, and Sourcing Capability Manager. Each career path is different depending on the unique skills, interests, and goals you bring. Your strong impact and continuous growth will foster a successful career with us.
