Tendium
German Speaking Junior Analyst and Operations Engineer
Job description
Do you want to join the technological revolution? Tendium is looking for a German Speaking Junior Analyst and Operations Engineer to join the Data Operations team .
About Tendium
Tendium is the global pioneer in AI-driven public tender management, transforming how companies discover, analyse, and win government contracts. Our platform turns complex processes into something simple and transparent, empowering businesses to compete fairly for billions in public sector opportunities. We’ve been building our AI-native platform since 2018, leveraging a vast data moat, agentic AI, and tens of thousands of hours of R&D. Today, we serve large numbers of customers across Europe and are rapidly scaling.
If you’re ready to make an impact and grow with us, we want to hear from you.
The Job
Our Data Operations team is responsible for the quality of our data - making sure the insights our customers rely on are trustworthy. We work closely with each other and with engineering to get the right data in place.
As a Junior Analyst and Operations Engineer in this team, you will own the quality of our German procurement data - one of our key growth markets. You'll work hands-on analysing German text-based procurement data, defining what "correct" looks like, and monitoring the accuracy of our AI-driven outputs.
This is a dual role. You own the German market data - you're the person who understands the sources and the quality bar. At the same time, you bring a technical mindset that makes the whole team faster - listening to where the team loses time, then building, scripting, and improving the workflows and tooling that remove that friction. When our AI gets something wrong, you're part of the loop that finds it, understands why, and feeds it back into the system.
You'll work closely with your team day to day, and collaborate with engineering, product, and commercial across the business. This is a role for someone who enjoys detail, structure, and responsibility - and who wants to understand how their work directly impacts customers and the business.
We work iteratively, combining advanced technology with human judgment. Your contribution helps ensure that our AI-driven insights are accurate, relevant, and trustworthy.
This role is offered on a full-time basis and is based at our Stockholm HQ. We expect you to spend the majority of your time in our office with your colleagues, with hybrid flexibility as agreed upon with your manager and team.
What You'll Do
•
Take ownership of German public procurement data quality - defining ground truth, monitoring accuracy, and ensuring coverage
•
Analyse and review German procurement documents and text-based data
•
Quality-assure AI-generated outputs to ensure clarity, accuracy, and relevance
•
Identify data and extraction errors, investigate root causes, and feed them back into engineering
•
Work with the team to spot bottlenecks in our workflows, and build technical solutions - scripts, tooling, automation - that make us more efficient
•
Support data sourcing, validation, and continuous improvement of our processes
•
Compile and deliver reports that customers use to make business decisions
•
Support internal teams with German language expertise and translations when needed
•
Participate in cross-functional projects and business development initiatives
Over time, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities or specialise further - for example within data quality, automation, or market analysis.
What You Bring
•
Native or fluent German, comfortable working with business and legal-style language
•
Fluent English
•
A technical background - through studies (e.g. computer science, data, or engineering), a LIA placement at a yrkeshögskola, or hands-on experience such as previous work or personal projects
•
Working knowledge of SQL - you're comfortable querying and exploring data yourself
•
A structured, analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
•
Comfort working with large volumes of text-based information
•
A sense of ownership: you care about delivering high-quality work, every time
•
Curiosity and willingness to learn in a technology-driven environment
Bonus Points
•
Fluency or strong working proficiency in Swedish
•
Broader programming or scripting experience (e.g. Python or similar) and an interest in automation
•
Experience working with data analysis, quality assurance, or research
•
Interest in AI, technology, or public procurement
•
Experience working in a fast-moving or scale-up environment
