Job description

We are looking for an HR Specialist – Labor Relations Iberia to support employee and labor relations activities across Spain and Portugal. This role is critical to ensuring a compliant, collaborative and people-centric workplace while partnering closely with business leaders, HR teams and external advisors.

You will be the go-to person for labor relations matters, Equality Plans, employee relations processes and interactions with employee representatives, combining strategic thinking with a hands-on approach in a highly international environment.

What you'll do?

Labor Relations & Equality Plans

Lead the design, analysis, negotiation, implementation and monitoring of Equality Plans.

Drive equality diagnostics and workforce data analysis, ensuring legal compliance and meaningful action plans.

Support and manage relationships with Works Councils, employee representatives and trade unions.

Participate in and support collective bargaining processes and labor consultations.

Provide labor relations guidance to HR and business leaders.

Monitor labor law developments and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and collective agreements.

Partner with Legal and external labor advisors on labor matters.

Employee Relations

Advise managers and People & Organization teams on employee relations matters and best practices.

Support performance management, disciplinary procedures and termination processes.

Manage sensitive employee relations cases and workplace investigations.

Assess risks and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.

Ensure consistency and compliance across employee relations practices.

Stakeholder Management & Business Support

Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the Iberia organization.

Act as a subject matter expert on labor relations and employee relations topics.

Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Legal teams and external advisors.

Support organizational changes, restructurings and workforce-related initiatives.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Ensure labor relations practices remain compliant and aligned with company policies.

Analyze labor-related data and trends to identify risks and opportunities.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.

Contribute to reporting and governance requirements.

What we're looking for?

Proven experience of more than 7 years in Labor Relations, Employee Relations or HR with a strong labor relations focus.

Hands-on experience managing Equality Plans, including diagnostics, workforce analysis, negotiations, implementation and follow-up.

Strong knowledge of Spanish labor legislation, collective agreements and equality regulations.

Experience working with employee representatives, Works Councils and trade unions.

Ability to analyze data and translate insights into practical actions and recommendations.

Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.

High level of autonomy, flexibility and business orientation.

Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.

Advanced English level.

Availability for occasional travel within Iberia when required.
