Responsibilities

  • Coordinate suppliers responsible for automotive interior components throughout the development process
  • Monitor project timing, quality, cost, and technical deliverables
  • Act as the main technical interface between suppliers, engineering teams, and the customer
  • Track project status, identify risks, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Coordinate engineering activities across cross-functional teams
  • Support engineering changes, validation activities, and release processes
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and automotive development processes
  • Lead regular technical meetings with suppliers and project stakeholders

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in Simultaneous Engineering, Project Engineering, or Technical Project Management
  • Proven experience coordinating suppliers within automotive development projects - a must
  • Experience with automotive interior components , particularly plastic interior parts (e.g., instrument panel, center console, door trim, interior trim components) - nice to have
  • Good understanding of automotive product development processes from concept through series production
  • Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers; previous experience with German OEM projects is considered a strong advantage
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent German is required, as the project language is German
  • Good English communication skills for collaboration within an international environment
