Title:FP&A Analyst
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for executing annual budgeting and forecast cycles analysis of Financial Statements.
· Under general supervision and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within the field of accounting.
· Maintain and update financial models, including scenario and trend analysis.
· Perform variance analysis and identify key business drivers.
· Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports for leadership.
· Track cash flow performance and support project-level cash conversion analysis.
· Analyze indirect rate variances and assist with rate impact assessments.
· Partner with business and functional teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
· Support process improvements and reporting automation (Excel, Power BI, EPM tools).
· Ability to work with large datasets and automate reporting processes
· Subject matter expert / Single point of contact role for the responsibilities assigned
· Should be willing to take transition and/or work on process stabilization
· This role will need to liaise across teams for information; being a team player is a must
· High stakeholder engagement at different levels
· Qualified professionals with relevant experience have an added advantage
· Should have done continuous improvement initiatives in earlier roles
· Should possess analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities under tight timelines
· Should be a Team Player; Individual Contributor Role involving highly complex activities
· Interpersonal skills including fluency in communication and presentation
· Preferred: Experience with Costpoint, COBRA, EPM, Excel or Power BI
Qualifications – Skill Requirements – Experience Levels (Additional Requirements)
· Recognized professional qualification (CA/CWA/ACCA or CIMA) with relevant work-experience of 2+ years or Semi-qualified professionals / undergraduate / Post graduate degree in commerce with minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
· Strong accounting knowledge - provide full spectrum of accounting support including handling of full set of accounts; management financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting
· Experience in project accounting activities for MNC engineering and construction companies or experience in F&A of multinational companies including F&A shared services would be an added advantage
· Expected to be flexible with interest to learn and to be able to take up any given role in one or more of Billing / Account Reconciliation / Accounts Receivables / Cash Application / Accounts Payables / General Accounting / Project Accounting / Tax / Corporate Accounting that is best suited for the employee and as per the business needs
· Should be flexible for job rotation on business needs and / or as determined as per the career progression plans
· Candidates are expected to possess analytical skills with attention to details
· Expected to have continuous improvement mindset and to drive the team to achieve process improvements
· Should be flexible regarding work from home vs work from office to be determined based on business requirements
· Should be flexible to work under tight timelines
