As part of our continued growth in North America, we are looking for experienced Field Engineers to support utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across the United States.

Field Engineer – Utility Scale Solar
Location: United States (project-based)
Travel Required: Yes
Job Summary
The Field Engineer will provide technical support on site during the construction and commissioning of utility-scale renewable energy projects. Working closely with the Construction Manager and the project team, this role ensures that construction activities are performed according to engineering drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
•
Provide on-site engineering support during construction activities.
•
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
•
Verify that field activities comply with project requirements and approved designs.
•
Perform daily site inspections and document construction progress.
•
Identify technical issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
•
Assist with quality inspections and testing activities.
•
Prepare daily field reports and maintain project documentation.
•
Support commissioning and start-up activities.
•
Coordinate technical information between the site and engineering teams.
•
Assist with punch list management and project close-out documentation.
•
Ensure compliance with company and client HSE requirements.
Required Qualifications
•
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
•
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Field Engineer, Site Engineer, or similar technical role.
•
Experience in utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial construction projects.
•
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
•
Strong technical problem-solving skills.
•
Fluent English (written and spoken).
•
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
•
Ability to travel extensively within the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

Utility-scale Solar PV
•
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
•
High Voltage Substations
•
Commissioning activities
•
OSHA 30 Certification
•
AutoCAD
•
Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud
•
Experience working with EPC contractors
