Hourly Rate:AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Description du travail: Préparer et tester des expériences de laboratoire, exercices et devoirs. Assister les étudiantes avec les expériences de laboratoire, les devoirs et la théorie. Présenter des séances de travaux dirigés. Présenter des démonstrations. Corriger les devoirs, rapports de laboratoire et quizzes. Offrir des heures de consultation et répondre aux courriels des étudiants. Surveillance d'examens et de quizzes.

Exigences minimales: La préférence sera accordée aux candidats ayant complété ce cours ou les cours équivalents avec une note d'au moins A. Ils/Elles devront assister au séminaire pour les AE donné par le Centre de Pédagogie, si nécessaire.  Les candidats retenus doivent être disponibles pour une entrevue. Si ce cours contient des périodes de supervision et enseignement de DGD et/ou TUT et/ou LAB, les candidats doivent être disponibles pour celles-ci. Doit avoir de l’expérience pratique avec l'environnement Altera Quartus II et FPGA; avoir une bonne connaissance de VHDL et langage Assembleur. Doit démontrer des capacités claires à expliquer des concepts complexes. Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication verbale en français. Expérience précédente comme assistant d'enseignement dans CEG2536 ou ses équivalents constituant un atout.
