Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm

Position Overview
The Parts Driver plays an important role in delivering an outstanding customer experience. By safely and efficiently delivering and picking up parts and returns, this position helps keep our customers operating and our service department productive. Getting the right part to the right place at the right time helps reduce downtime, improve repair turnaround times, and strengthen customer relationships.
The Parts Driver is often one of the most visible representatives of our dealership and is expected to provide friendly, professional, and customer-focused service at every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service during all pick-ups and deliveries.
- Build positive relationships with customers through professional and courteous interactions.
- Communicate customer feedback, concerns, and opportunities to Parts Department staff.
- Represent the dealership in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Parts Delivery and Pick-Up
- Safely operate a Class 5 vehicle to deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and related items.
- Ensure deliveries are accurate, on time, and handled with care.
- Plan efficient delivery routes and schedules to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Load, secure, unload, and handle parts and merchandise safely.
Vehicle and Safety
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow all traffic laws, dealership policies, and safety procedures.
- Drive safely in all weather and road conditions, including winter driving, rain, and heavy traffic.
- Report vehicle issues, incidents, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
Administration and Team Support
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, mileage, fuel usage, and related information.
- Sort and organize freight and parts for delivery.
- Communicate effectively with Parts Department staff using a mobile phone or other communication tools.
- Assist Parts staff with order preparation, inventory movement, and deliveries as required.
- Support other department activities and provide vacation or sick-day coverage when needed.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must
- Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Be self-motivated and reliable with strong time-management skills.
- Have a good understanding of applicable driving laws and safe driving practices.
- Demonstrate the ability to drive safely in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Be customer-focused and committed to providing excellent service.
- Be a team player who works well with others.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
- Be flexible and willing to work alternate shifts to provide coverage when required.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
- Be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are considered assets
- Forklift certification.
- Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations.
- Previous experience with medium-duty or heavy-duty truck parts.
- Previous delivery driving or logistics experience.
This position is subject to a collective agreement.
