Gift Shop Attendant - Seasonal

POSITION PURPOSE

To attend to the guests in an efficient, courteous and accurate manner. All functions are carried out to maintain an environment of teamwork.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)

· Customer service and Interpersonal skills.

· Ability to learn about the goods in the store so as to explain to the customer

· Excellent communication and customer service ethics

· Communicating solutions successes and opportunities to leadership

· Handle exchange of goods

· When the sale is made accept payments and hand over the receipt to the customer

· Arranging demonstrations of goods

· Helping the customers choose goods

· Place price tags on the goods and arrange the goods in an attractive manner

· Ability to perceive the needs of the customer and show them appropriate merchandise

· Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently

· Responds and takes actions to customer concerns and complaints.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have

· A combination of education and hospitality experience will be considered

· Eligible to work in the United States

· Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.

· Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required-with or without reasonable accommodations

· Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
