Overview

The Treasury Management (“TM”) Specialist is a key contributor responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and expansion of the Bank's Treasury Management function. As the Treasury Management function continues to evolve, this role will focus on building internal processes, supporting client solution delivery, assisting with product implementation, and partnering with business lines to establish a scalable treasury management platform.

The position works closely with market leadership, commercial lenders, operations, technology, and other internal stakeholders to support treasury management initiatives, enhance client service capabilities, and promote awareness of treasury management products and services.

The position combines program development, solution support, implementation coordination, and internal partnership. While the role may participate in client discussions and support business development activities, its primary focus is establishing processes, supporting implementation efforts, and positioning the Treasury Management function for future growth. As the function matures, responsibilities may expand to include direct business development, portfolio growth and revenue generation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and expansion of the Bank's Treasury Management program by assisting with client solution design, product implementation, operational readiness, and internal process development.
  • Support departmental goals related to treasury management adoption, implementation effectiveness, client satisfaction, and operational performance.
  • Partner with market leaders, commercial lenders, corporate banking, and other internal stakeholders to identify treasury management needs, support solution delivery, and assist with the development of referral and client engagement strategies.
  • Participate in client and prospect discussions to assess treasury management needs, support solution recommendations, and assist with onboarding and implementation efforts.
  • Review treasury management service utilization and client feedback to identify operational improvements, service enhancements, and future growth opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver treasury management presentations, client proposals, implementation plans, pricing support analyses, and related documentation that align client needs with bank capabilities.
  • Serve as a treasury management subject matter expert to internal partners and clients, providing guidance on products, services, technology, and solution positioning.
  • Review treasury management pricing analyses, documentation, and product recommendations in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to support solution design, onboarding, implementation, and ongoing service delivery.
  • Prepare contracts, implementation documentation, and related materials with a high degree of accuracy, completeness, and adherence to bank procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of treasury management trends, competitive offerings, and applicable federal and state regulations to ensure informed recommendations and compliant execution.
  • Support the onboarding and implementation of new Treasury Management clients and serve as a primary Treasury Management resource following implementation to support ongoing product utilization and client service needs.
  • Support effective client onboarding and ongoing utilization of Treasury Management services to promote client satisfaction, retention, and long-term relationship development.

Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance Treasury Management operations, service delivery, and product adoption

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in treasury management, commercial banking, cash management, client services, operations, implementation, business banking, or a related financial services environment required.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury management products, services, and client applications within a commercial banking environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to support client relationship management, treasury management solutions, project implementation, process development, or operational initiatives within a financial services environment.
  • Proven ability to build credibility with clients and internal partners through consultative selling, sound judgment, and effective relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience in negotiations, presentations and proposals.
  • Strong attention to detail.

COMPENSATION: $75,000 to $110,000
