Senior Analyst and Financial Manager
Job description
Work tasks: Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate cooperation with external accounting service providers and ensure compliance with Estonian accounting, tax, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare organizational and project budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor cash flow, project expenditures, and the organization’s financial position.
- Prepare financial reports, budget reviews, forecasts, and financial reports for donors.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements, contractual obligations, and the organization’s financial procedures.
- Support fundraising efforts and help identify funding opportunities from international donors and foundations.
- Advise management on financial planning and strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate audits, financial reviews, and the management of financial documentation.
- Monitor the spread of misinformation and disinformation across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
- Use Meta Content Library, Meta Fact-Checking tools, and other monitoring systems to identify and analyze misleading content.
- Contribute to the preparation of fact-checking articles, analytical reports, and other project deliverables.
- Monitor and analyze Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) activities and support the preparation of related analyses and assessments.
- Support TikTok monitoring and the reporting of misinformation.
- Participate in partnership development, project implementation, and communication with international partners and stakeholders.
- Support the production of multimedia content and manage content on the GeoFacts online platform.
