We believe in caring for the whole person-physically, emotionally, and spiritually-and are seeking a caring Massage Therapist to join our interdisciplinary hospice team.

Position Summary

The Part-Time Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage services to hospice patients in their homes, assisted living communities, and care settings throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul South Metro area. The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, and committed to improving patient comfort and well-being through gentle, individualized massage therapy.

Responsibilities

Provide therapeutic massage services to hospice patients based on individual needs and physician orders.

Assess patient comfort levels and adapt techniques appropriately for hospice and palliative care patients.

Collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other members of the hospice care team.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the benefits of massage therapy for comfort and symptom management.

Adhere to all company policies, professional standards, and applicable state regulations.

Travel to patient locations within the Minneapolis/St. Paul South Metro service area.

Qualifications

Current Minnesota Massage Therapy certification, registration, or licensure as required by local regulations.

Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program.

Previous experience working with hospice, palliative care, geriatrics, or medically fragile populations preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.

Current CPR certification preferred.
