SUMMARY

Responsible for duties associated with developing, managing, and supporting Bank and Trust processes, projects, and systems used across the organization. Provides professional, technical, operational, and project support to bank personnel by investigating and reconciling escalated questions and concerns related to accounts, products, services, workflows, system functionality, and process effectiveness. Participates with project teams in requirements gathering, documentation, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support for system upgrades, process improvements, vendor solutions, and enterprise initiatives. Maintains working knowledge of Bank and Trust policies, procedures, products, services, and system configurations and communicates changes effectively to impacted stakeholders.

The salary for this role will be between $60,000 and $75,000 The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant's skills and prior relevant experience. Job Functions

  • Recommend and assist in the development and implementation of process and procedure improvements to enhance service capabilities, system effectiveness, and organizational efficiencies.
  • Partner with leadership to implement Bank and Trust process improvements, project deliverables, system enhancements, and new services, including templates and tools for testing, configuration, documentation, and implementation management.
  • Research and document end-user needs and Bank and Trust business requirements; write user stories, enhancement requests, specifications, workflow charts, project documentation, and process diagrams.
  • Design QA and UAT plans for Bank and Trust system upgrades, process changes, project implementations, and new product or service launches, including test cases, test results, issue logging, and escalation through resolution.
  • Ensure Bank and Trust process changes, system enhancements, project deliverables, and upgrades are thoroughly tested, documented, and reported with appropriate detail; coordinate with internal teams and vendors until acceptable resolution is reached.
  • Recommend, test, and implement Bank and Trust system configurations, workflow changes, and operational processes while maintaining appropriate project records, maintenance documentation, approvals, and authorizations.
  • Create and maintain department and product documentation, including resource guides, procedures, training tools, and FAQs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned Bank and Trust processes, projects, and systems while maintaining current understanding of business requirements, workflows, controls, and system configurations.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, professional networks, and other development opportunities.
  • Administer assigned Bank and Trust business systems; test system updates, support project implementation activities, maintain documentation, and obtain appropriate approvals and authorizations.
  • Support the development, management, and ongoing improvement of Bank and Trust processes, projects, and systems.
  • Function as lead liaison between Riverview Bank and designated vendors, as appropriate for the assigned level.
  • Assist business units, branches, and departments in identifying and resolving problem areas and recommending improvements that increase efficiency and service effectiveness.
  • Maintain and provide up to date knowledge and development of standard policies and procedures.
  • Participate and ensure that technical and operational functions for branches and departments are applied, reviewed and maintained through coordination of staff training.
  • Prepare and/or complete various reports and forms accurately to be in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service and use problem-solving skills to satisfy clients.
  • Participate as assigned in special task force groups, project teams, and cross-functional initiatives to assist in developing and implementing Bank and Trust products, processes, systems, and technology.

Additional duties and responsibilities

  • Participates in and completes training objectives with passing scores.
  • Work independently and efficiently on duties assigned.
  • Follow all Riverview policies and procedures.
  • Lead or participate in project teams - including bank employees and outside vendors.
  • Complete projects as assigned by Supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned

RELATIONSHIPS

Weekly contact with Manager for consultation and direction regarding operational activities.

Contact clients and prospective clients in providing assistance to fulfill their banking needs.

Frequent contact with business representatives providing sales, service products and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and three years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of related education and experience. Previous experience in an Operations environment.

SKILLS

  • Learning to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, professional journals, and applicable regulations.
  • Beginning to present information and respond to questions from small groups.
  • Developing basic skills to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Learning to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
  • Developing familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Beginning to understand components of Bank and Trust processes, projects, systems, workflows, controls, and related business software programs.
  • Learning to solve practical problems with some guidance in situations with limited standardization.
  • Developing the ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and adaptability in leveraging evolving digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance work quality, efficiency, decision-making, and customer experience.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and responsibly apply emerging technologies in alignment with regulatory and ethical standards.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate via phone/video, messaging, and email. The employee is required to use computer and office equipment such as a computer, printer, copier, as well as computer software such as Microsoft Office. You may also frequently be required to occupy a workstation for long periods of time.
