Position Overview

As a Technical Recruiter, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless onboarding of top-tier technical talent. You will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and integrating candidates into Zephyrus Engineering Limited. You will act as the bridge between our hiring managers and candidates, ensuring a smooth and enriching experience from the first interaction to the first day on the job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition and Recruitment
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical hiring needs and define role requirements.
  • Develop and execute innovative strategies to source candidates from diverse platforms such as job boards, professional networks, and recruitment events.
  • Conduct detailed screenings and assessments to evaluate candidates' technical capabilities and cultural fit.
  • Manage a robust talent pipeline to ensure ongoing recruitment for critical roles.
  • Onboarding Excellence (Primary Responsibility)
  • Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring their transition into Zephyrus Engineering Limited is smooth, engaging, and informative.
  • Create and implement comprehensive onboarding programs tailored to technical roles, including introductions to teams, tools, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all equipment, access, and resources are ready before the candidates first day.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new hires during their initial months, addressing queries and facilitating their integration into company culture.
  • Employer Branding and Engagement
  • Represent Zephyrus Engineering Limited at career fairs, technical conferences, and networking events to attract top talent.
  • Develop compelling content to promote job opportunities and the companys culture on social media and professional platforms.
  • Foster relationships with technical universities and training institutions to build a strong early-career pipeline.
  • Recruitment Process Optimization
  • Analyze recruitment metrics to improve processes, reduce time-to-hire, and enhance candidate experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, recruitment tools, and best practices to ensure the use of cutting-edge techniques in talent acquisition.
  • Compliance and Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with all recruitment and employment laws.
  • Prepare detailed reports on recruitment progress, challenges, and outcomes for leadership review.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Technical certifications are a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Recruiter, preferably within the engineering or technology industry.

Skills and Competencies

  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of engineering roles, technical jargon, and industry trends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage and inspire candidates and stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building abilities to foster connections with candidates and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying challenges and proposing effective solutions.

Technological Proficiency

  • Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other sourcing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of virtual onboarding platforms and tools is a plus.
