What you´ll do
- Recognized as Henkel’s EMI expert, with deep expertise in electromagnetic interference at both component and material levels; actively represents the company in industry associations and drives the development of breakthrough technologies, intellectual property, and white papers to strengthen and promote Henkel’s expertise.
- Regularly shapes strategy and tactical planning, accelerating the adoption of EMI technologies through insights derived from customer interactions, research, and early design engagement.
- Collaborates with global customer design centers and industry experts to develop and align technology roadmaps.
- Partners with internal stakeholders to lead benchmarking studies that assess competitive positioning and identify innovation opportunities.
- Engages directly with key global customers on-site to identify and translate emerging needs into new business opportunities.
- Builds and leverages strong external networks and partnerships across research institutions, suppliers, OEMs, industry bodies, and universities.
- Leads and manages key innovation and application development programs, with a strong understanding of emerging technologies and their impact on the strategic business unit.
- Proactively drives impact by sharing best practices across teams, technologies, applications, and product lines within the strategic business unit.
- Leads strategic recommendations, customer engagements, demonstrations, training sessions, and problem-solving initiatives for breakthrough technologies.
- Quantifies, documents, and communicates the value of Henkel’s solutions to customers.
- Serves in a global technical leadership role within Automotive Components Market Teams, recognized as a market application expert and trusted consulting resource.
- Oversees technical training for field sales teams and customers while driving the development of application engineering talent.
- Conducts manufacturing excellence assessments to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
- Supports key EMI programs, ensuring feasibility and strong alignment between customer requirements and internal capabilities
What makes you a good fit
- Strong and demonstrable experience in EMI and electrical engineering, with deep expertise that will be key to driving innovation and delivering meaningful impact in the role.
- Deep technical understanding of EMI at the component level, with additional expertise at the material level considered a strong advantage.
- Proven experience in customer-facing technical roles.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical, customer-focused solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across regions and cultures.
- Business-oriented mindset with a strong focus on execution and delivering results.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred, with a PhD considered a strong advantage.

The salary range for this role is $140,000.00 and $185,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
