What will you be doing?

Baringa is recognised as a leading advisory business in the Climate Change space. We work collaboratively with clients to understand their climate change strategy and challenges, advise directly on low carbon projects and investments, and have developed the leading Climate Change Scenario Model to analyse portfolios to assess transition and physical risks, and temperature alignment. We are expanding our Climate Change team as we continue to deepen our analytical capabilities to support our clients in this area.

So, what are we looking for?

We are looking for individuals with a broad range of skills or experience in the climate change risk space that could support the work we're doing in the development of our Climate Change Solution model. We also have a number of specific roles that we're looking for, to include:

• Climate Change Transition Specialists – able to understand and model sectoral transitions and consequences for companies across different sectors. Ideally this individual would be someone with an Economics background, who is highly analytical and ideally holds modelling and coding experience.
• Energy Systems Expert - an individual with a background in operational research, optimisation, and coding expertise. Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience in energy system modelling and long term scenario development expertise
