Elite Staffing Network is seeking an Echosonographer in Henderson, NC.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using a variety of ultrasound equipment and techniques.
Obtain and record patient history, including relevant symptoms and medical information.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnostic purposes.
Analyze sonograms, synthesizing information from various sources to determine the appropriate course of action.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and test results.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
Proficiency in performing sonographic procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal exams.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Ability to accurately interpret sonograms and identify abnormalities or potential areas of concern.
Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques such as cardiac catheterization and vital sign monitoring.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
