SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a high-visibility engineering team focused on distributed systems, risk and compliance platforms, and AI-enabled applications. This is an onsite role based in Nashville, TN. Prior Amazon experience is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop distributed or multi-tier systems at enterprise scale
- Build and maintain applications supporting risk, compliance, and governance workflows
- Contribute to AI-enabled features and LLM integrations within existing platforms
- Apply strong object-oriented design principles across Java, Python, and TypeScript codebases
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across international operations
MANDATORY SKILLS
- Python
- Java
- TypeScript
- Experience with distributed or multi-tier systems
- Strong object-oriented design fundamentals
- Prior Amazon experience
- Must be US-based (compliance requirement)
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Background in risk, compliance, audit, controls, or governance systems
- Experience building AI-enabled applications
- Exposure to LLMs (prompting, integration, or API consumption)
- Domain knowledge in transportation, logistics, or large operational platforms
