Position Summary The residential advisor (RA) entails supervision of minor participants in the "Experience Nuclear Engineering 2026" summer camp in the Hokona Hall dormitory after hours and throughout the day as needed, including at meal times in La Posada. The program dates are July 12-18, inclusive, and candidates must be available for the entirety of this time block. This is a position of considerable responsibility, requiring a background check and training in UNM Minors on Campus policy, emergencies, and appropriate interactions. Candidates must be interested in interacting with program attendees. Strong preference will be given to UNM Nuclear Engineering majors. Hirees will be compensated hourly as well as with free meals and lodging in a single-occupancy room in Hokona Hall.

Preferred Qualifications
Be a student in nuclear engineering with a strong interest in interacting with and entertaining enthusiastic young people ages 15-18. Must have a strong sense of responsibility for safety.
