Senior Software Developer (Frontend)

Our client, with its headquarters in Singapore, is the premier service provider in Asia Pacific for issuing verifiable credentials, having already processed over 12 million verifications for 2 million issued credentials. Their innovative solutions facilitate automation and secure information exchange, empowering nearly 600 users across nine markets to streamline complex processes and discover new heights of efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient, reusable, and testable software modules using TypeScript and Vue.js.
• Create and maintain React Native mobile applications using the Expo framework.
• Produce self-documenting, optimized code within specified timelines.
• Participate in full-stack front-end development, from ideation to deployment.
• Attend client meetings to gather briefs, convey ideas, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Design and implement innovative and robust technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide a team of talented developers.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure the ongoing quality of delivered work.
• Establish best practices and set standards for contemporary web development throughout the organization.
• Carry out maintenance, enhancements, and new development tasks as necessary.
• Interact securely and reliably with 3rd party APIs in a scalable fashion.
• Help solve intricate performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Plan, test, and thoroughly document your software solutions alongside other engineers.

Requirements

• Strong experience with the TypeScript and Vue.js framework, including experience building and maintaining large-scale, complex web applications
• Strong experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Strong experience with Git and version control
• Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization techniques
• Strong experience with Agile development methodologies
• Strong experience in requirements scoping, data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis.
• Demonstrable experience with object-oriented and design patterns.
• Participated in at least two full software development lifecycles in a senior capacity.
• Good experience in unit test frameworks such as jest and integration test frameworks such as cypress and selenium.
• High level knowledge on various testing methodologies such as functional, integration, regression, penetration, and performance testing.
• Experience with continuous integration and test-driven development.
• Experience with mobile technologies react-native, ionic, or native.
• Experience with deploying front-end application using AWS.
• 5 years of experience in web and mobile development in JavaScript
