Job description
A supermarket in Warri is seeking a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and effectively. Responsibilites
- Receiving payments and issuing receipts
- Kepinging track of all cash and credit transactions
- Cross-selling products and introducing new ones
- Resolving customer complaints, guiding them and providing relevant information
- Maintaining clean and tidy checkout areas
- Tracking transactions on balance sheet and report discrepancies
- Handling merchandise returns and exchanges
Requirements
- Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar sales role
- Basic PC knowledge
- Good math skills
- Strong communication and time management skils
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- WAEC Certificate
