Business Analyst - Finance
Minimum Requirements
•
Minimum Degree in Commerce/Accounting (BCom) non-negotiable.
•
Diploma / Degree in Project Management will be an advantage.
•
Minimum of 3- 5 years experience within a finance function and in the role of ERP Syspro super user.
•
Demonstrated success in managing projects relating to superior performance and continuous improvement.
•
Knowledge and work experience in SQL queries and Power BI.
•
Valid Code EB drivers license.
Duties & Responsibilities
ERP Support
•
Assist end users in resolving ERP-related issues across the Baking Business Unit, particularly financial issues.
•
Assist users with ERP reports, data, and table information available from ERP tables.
•
Provide clear problem definitions and liaise with technical experts/external consultants to resolve technical ERP-related issues.
•
Collaborate with the learning team and super users to deliver and conduct end-user training on existing and new system functionality.
System Functionality
•
Conduct user acceptance testing in conjunction with the Information Technology department and business (super users).
•
Create and maintain user training manuals and SOPs in collaboration with business (super users) and the learning team.
•
Conduct user assessments after training or as required, and analyze reports on skills gaps to identify training needs.
•
Work with the learning department to roll out ongoing end-user training as needed.
System Opportunity Identification
•
Support the Commercial Manager Projects, Application Manager, and Business in identifying IT application solutions for key business requirements.
•
Quantify savings and efficiencies related to identified opportunities and draft Business Case documentation for submission to the Commercial Manager Projects.
Application Development, Enhancement, and Implementation
•
Act as a liaison between the Business and the IT department/external consultants to implement identified system enhancements.
•
Meet with relevant Business representatives to document detailed business requirements.
•
Compile and obtain sign-off for scope definition documents prior to implementation.
•
Compile and store project documentation (e.g., process flows, training materials, SOPs, change controls).
•
Communicate with developers and conduct full testing before business user acceptance testing.
•
Collaborate with the Business to implement the solution and provide post-implementation support, especially for financial users.
