Technical Engineer Specialist - VMWare
Job description
Minimum requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience working with VMware vSphere in a production environment
- Experience configuring and managing VMware vCenter Server
- Experience with VMware ESXi server administration, vRealize Automation with Salt Stack and Powercli
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS), VMware vSphere, vROPS, vSAN and vRO, storage, networking, management, monitoring, security, performance, capacity, and availability
- Strong experience maintaining NSX-T environments and significant experience in building physical and virtual networks

Responsibilities
- The VMware Engineer is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the VMware virtualization platform.
- This includes vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX-T, vRA and other related products.
- The engineer will work closely with other IT team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the virtualization environment.
- In addition, the engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that may arise and providing support to users as needed.
