Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator

We are looking for a Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator for an International School based Shenyang. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2025.

About the school

This school was founded through the foresight and partnership with the Liaoning Government, Government of Canada. Follow with the combination of our Canadian Curriculum and IB programme framework.

Job responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and development of the MYP curriculum, ensuring alignment with IB standards.
• Collaboration with staff, facilitating professional development and providing guidance on MYP best practices.
• Coordinate communication between teachers, administration, and parents regarding curriculum and student progress.
• Conduct regular assessments and reviews of student learning outcomes and teaching strategies.
• Support teachers in planning, implementing, and evaluating inquiry-based learning experiences.
• Participate in the schools leadership team, contributing to school improvement initiatives.
• Organize and lead PYP workshops and parent information sessions to promote understanding of the MYP framework.

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Annual salary 250,000 to 350,000 RMB after tax and is negotiable commensurate with experience and qualifications
