Procurement Expeditor (JB)

We are looking for PROCUREMENT EXPEDITOR to work on a Biomass project in Johor, Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Expediting the procurement of materials equipment, and services required for the projects
• Work closely with the procurement team, suppliers and project managers to ensure the timely delivery of material to meet project deadlines and minimize project delays
• Monitor and tract status of purchase orders, including order confirmations, manufacturing and shipping
• Identify potential delays in procurement process and take proactive measures to mitigate them
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Monitor supplier performance and report on time delivery metrics to management.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, shipping documents and delivery schedules
• Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with project requirements
• Collaborate with project managers to understand project priorities and deadlines.
• Identify and communicate potential procurement related risks to project team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain management or equivalent
• Proven experience in procurement, expediting or supply chain management with focus on biorefinery / refinery related projects
• Strong organizational skills and keen eye for details
• MUST have working experience in Malaysia especially on greenfield project
• Able to take on two years contract.
• Ability to speak and understand Mandarin will be an advantage as this role requires to manage Chinese vendors.
